B. Grammar -  "to have" or "to be"

 

Use the verb "to be" for age, height, weight, disabilities and appearance.

 

Examples:

 

I am 45 years old. / She is 27.

You are average height.

They are slender.

He is hearing impaired.

They are attractive.

 

Use the verb "to have" for hair, eyes, face, ear, etc.

 

Examples:

 

My friend has wavy hair.

You have an oval face.

He has large ears.

We have brown eyes.
